Junior Accountant

We are seeking
an
enthusiastic student or recent graduate to join our all-star, growing Finance Administration team as Junior Accountant.

What you'll do:

Book accounts receivable invoices and undertake aging reconciliations
Support the bank and cash collection reconciliation activities
Support the monthly closing and reconciliation of VAT/Sales Tax/etc. activities
Support the Finance Team in the monthly PL reports
Ensure time and accurate analysis
Provide data for internal and external reporting
Continuously drive for improvement in quality and efficiency in new processes and systems to enhance the workflow of the team
Support the Finance Team on adhoc requests related to accounting or new projects

What we're looking for:

Business or Economics Degree (Accounting specialization strongly preferred)
Good understanding of accounting concepts
Fluency in English and Italian both written and spoken
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with both internal and external contacts
Ability to work hard as part of a growing team
Excellent eye for detail and organizational skills
Ability to work to stringent deadlines and show flexibility
Proactive and able to show initiative
Selfstarter with ability to prioritize and manage multiple taks
Proficiency in Word and Excel; knowledge of Microsoft Navision will be an advantage, but not essential
