    Position Mission

    The Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Team Leader, will mainly take care of the design of electrical parts, assemblies and devices, related to contactless measurement systems, both for railway and steelworks application; he will have to elaborate and maintain such project documentation as the bill of materials and related documents; he will be required to choose adequate electrical/electronical components.

    It is mandatory the compliance of the systems to international technical standards and customer's requirements.

    Responsibilities

  • Assuring the compliance of the design to project requirements and appliable legal regulations and standards.
  • Respect of project milestones as agreed with the PM and the team leader.
  • Minimizing costs in manufacturing (both parts production and product assembly).
  • Elaboration of SPAC models and drawings of electrical schemes
  • Elaboration of electrical BOMs
  • Estimate implementation effort for given tasks
  • Documentation of design specifications and implementation details
  • Collaboration with other team members (including optical and electronical engineers) to agree system designs, interfaces, etc.
  • Collaboration with other departments (Supply Chain, Operations, Quality Control, etc.) in order to guarantee the required quality of parts and products
  • Assuring the compliance of the design to project requirements and appliable legal regulations and standards.
  • In some applications selection of the PLC and PLC programming
  • Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience

  • Master degree in Electrical Engineering or similar (Aeronautical/Naval/Mechatronics)
  • (Nice to have) 1/2 years of experience in similar roles (a new graduate is accepted)
  • (Nice to have) experience with CAD systems (SPAC preferred)
  • (Nice to have) Knowledge of EU Directives, national and international technical standards
  • Knowledge (at least basic) of Windows Office
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English, at least B2 level
  • Availability for sporadic national and international travels
  • (Nice to have) basic PLC programming experience
