recruits for a Multinational Global Food Ingredients company with Sales offices and specialized manufacturing centres the

European Group CFO and BOD Member m/f/d

Location: Northern Italy

office based Verona Area

Tasks

• Responsibility of managing and running all the finance activities for the EU companies of the given perimeter
• Main duties and responsibility (same are done for all entities other only for some specific one):

ACCOUNTING:

• Direction and management for the accounting and finance team, provide monthly closure and official financials in according the laws, relations with auditors and fiscal consultant.
• Managing of all other duties vs head quarter regarding the IC and all other needs.
• Activity of "internal audit" concerning internal compliance

TREASURY:

Managing all the cash flow, payments, receivables, and payables. Cash flow forecast and weekly analysis of the cash availability.

• Relationships with banks, negotiations loans, credit lines and conditions

CONTROLLING:

• Sales and financial budget
• Sales statistics for the headquarters and sales team
• Reports for quarterly meetings
• Prepare targets and actual values for KRA
• Stock controlling (values, rotation and quality)
• Standard cost calculations and analysis vs actual
• Standard cost calculation for price list

LEGAL

Contacts with lawyer and management of all legal disputes.

CONTRACTS

• Personal management of different suppliers (E-energy and Gas)
• Relationship with several suppliers, cars, training, recruitment, government associations and various others
• Insurances negotiations

HR

• Administration management of all HR matters. Relationship with consultant company.
• Preparation of contracts.
• Check about the salaries cost.
• Check the procedures concerning cost expenditures.
• Trainings

IT

Relationship with the Italians supplier in this matter for all the IT aspects including contracts for the net (pc, server, problems).

OTHER VARIOUS

• Sharing costs
• Transfer pricing
• New projects
• Relations with board auditors
• Prepare Board of Directors meetings

Requirements

Required skills and qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in executive leadership roles
• Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
• Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
• Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning
• Working knowledge of how to raise capital outside traditional lines of credit

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting, or finance
• International finance experience
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions and investor relations
• Professional certification (ex: Certified Public Accountant)

Others:

• Fluent English and Italian is a Must, other European language is an asset
• A big asset is you have experience in the Food and Beverage Industry
