In 1995 the Comun Nuovo (BG) brewery was acquired, today the largest in Italy with 2.7 million hectoliters of beer produced every year.

With the acquisition of Birra Moretti in 1996, HEINEKEN Italia reaches its current size.

THE POSITION AND THE TEAM


As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for prevent food safety and product quality problems (raw, packaging and auxiliary materials) to maintain a stable process and to provide reliable product and process data.

you will be responsible for lead the implementation of NPI projects/CVE/DSV and perform audits according to the SSH audit plan.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Prevent food safety and product quality problems by improving the quality assurance framework, ensuring compliance, and promoting Quality Culture across all brewery teams, and enable production and it's supporting functions to maintain a stable process by carrying out process capability deployments and providing reliable product and process data on time in full
  • Lead the PQ pillar and drive continuous improvement by initiating the transition from processbased control to condition management, and the implementation of NPI projects / CVE / DSV at Brewery Level
  • Ensure the quality of all incoming raw, packaging
- and auxiliary materials by driving supplier performance management follow up and corrective / preventive actions at brewery level (for local suppliers) and additionally performing audits according to the SSH audit plan

  • Develop a quality vision which is E2E and consumer/customer oriented (including all relevant aspects: activities, process, organization structure and people development)

WHO YOU ARE

  • Minimum Bachelor, preferable master's degree in Brewing and Malting Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Agronomy or Engineering Chemistry
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in food and beverage production and technology, quality control and assurance systems and in managing a team
  • Previous experience in: Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, Laboratory operations in food and beverage production environment, Brewing / Packaging / Utilities / NPI
  • Excellent communication (English and Italian) and collaborative skills in crossfunctional teams, curious, dynamic and driven by the desire to continually improve.
