About the school:

The International School of Bergamo is a friendly and expanding school opened in 2011.

In just 11 years, we are proud to have become an IB Continuum World School offering the Primary, Middle Years and Diploma Programmes.

The Role:

We are seeking a
Mathematics DP/MYP Teacher, who will be responsible for teaching in our first years of the DP alongside the MYP.

Have experience in teaching Mathematics at middle/high school level
Be able to engage students at all levels
Be willing to play an active part and collaborate with the other members of the middle school /high school department in the overall curriculum development
Be committed to high standards, interested in using a constructivist approach to learning, and be enthusiastic about promoting international understanding.
Be expected to show a high level of initiative, flexibility, creativity and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to cocurricula initiatives.
Qualified Teacher Status
English Mother Tongue
A University degree in (pure or applied) Mathematics is desired, but consideration will be given to graduates in other fields
Hold EU passport or have already obtained the right to be employed in Italy.
Knowledge and skills in ICT literacy
