The role embraces the marketing, digital and commercial activities that make our e-commerce brilliant and successful.

Main activities

  • Accountability for both the development and delivery ofour yearly marketplace plans. The Project foresees the plan and launch of an Ecommerce platform in the next year.
  • To develop and define our strategic direction helping us to grant performance and ensuring we are as cost efficient as possible.
  • To influence and drive the online strategy, using commercial skills to ensure the right decisions are made.
  • To ensure daytoday marketplace operations are met and performance targets achieved across our remote location with circa 5 staff.
  • To experiment and scale with initiatives to improve business operations and profitability.
  • To produce sales analysis and financial reports on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
Profilo

  • Experience of ecommerce, ideally including marketplaces.
  • Fluent in English and confident with Asian Markets.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and practical levels.
  • Strong problemsolving ability, adept with data and know how to use it to add value.
  • Experience in designing, implementing and analyzing ecommerce projects with a track record of success.
  • Willingness to be "on the ground", building key relationships with strategic suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills to guide the project strategy decisions and able to demonstrate rigorous analysis.
  • Experience in leading and managing a remote team.
