General Purpose:
The Field Service Engineer/Assembly Technician will work in our manufacturing facility in Parma, Italy.

This position requires experience in the mechanical assembly, setup and service of high-speed machinery (can seamers) at our factory in Parma and at various customer sites all over the world.

Responsibilities:

Excellent knowledge in Can Seaming and Closing will be a plusTo interact with Engineering, Manufacturing, Customers, Sales, and Project ManagementTo have a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.

To work with customers/End Users and to be able to analyze and solve their issues with seamers and can closingTo train customers in the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of their machines along with specifying and identifying spare parts recommendations to customersAbility to be self-directed/motivated and excellent time management skills are requiredTo write technical reports and to fill up work sheets for all service visitsTo build long term relationships with clients and to recommend End Users the benefits to setup service contracts for periodic maintenance/overhauls Minimum Qualifications Technical High School Diploma or equivalentGood verbal and written communications skillsCapacity to work in teamWorking knowledge of computer programs as well as mobile phone appsExperience At least 3 years experience in Can Seamers assembly or serviceKnowledge of can making process or beverage/food filling is a plusKnowledge / Skills & Ability Must be able to read, write, and speak English, Italian, other languages a plusApproximately 50% domestic and international travel is requiredMust hold a valid Passport and driving license PLEASE SUBMIT CV'S IN ENGLISH /ITALIAN #LI-NB1 Alla Barry- Wehmiller selezioniamo persone con esperienze e talenti che vanno al di là delle pure competenze tecniche.
