Rovigo e provinciaFor our client, multinational biomedical company, leader in the production of medical devices, we are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with a relevant and proven experience in PVC compounding production.

The Sr Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the activities required to sustain the Manufacturing department from a process/project engineering standpoint as well as the coordination of activities and resources with the Engineering Manager.

Main ResponsibilitiesThe Sr Manufacturing Engineer (Material) is responsible for the activities required to sustain the Manufacturing department including project management, technical specification for new assets and refurbishments, process development (Soft PVC compounding) and validations, asset and equipment transfers between sites.

Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies.

Coordinate the ongoing projects, activities and resources in the Manufacturing department, together with the Engineering Manager:

Quality, Operations, R&D, Manufacturing Technology Innovation

Interface with outside vendors:
Manufacturing vendors, suppliers of ancillary equipment and/or services.

Coordination with international and cross-functional teams via web/video conferencing (English required).Position includes travel to vendors and other sites regionally and/or internationally.


Requisiti:

Engineering Degree:
in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or any other related field of study.
6+ years work experience in an engineering/R&D field with relevant experience in PVC compounding production
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to interpret, edit and correct part drawings.
Experience working in a development environment, with an understanding of process design, process capability and manufacturing cost analysis.
Medical device industry experience preferred.
Experience developing processes for high volume manufacturing.
Strong analytical and empirical skills.
Proficient in advanced tools for analytically modeling (such as Six Sigma certification).
Must have strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
