_ Rare Business Unit First Line Manager -Transplants_

_ ROLE OBJECTIVE_

  • This role will have responsibility of the cocreation and execution of the launch plan for Maribavir.
  • Work with crossfunctional teams (Business, Marketing, R&D, Finance etc.) to successfully deliver Maribarvir Launch.
  • Plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks
  • Develop endtoend launch schedules, track key milestones, and create contingency plans for highrisk deliverables
  • Communicate priorities, risks, and schedules to executive management
  • Ensure execution of brand and key account plan to achieve the BU goals.
  • Lead the team of Account Specialists to develop strategic customer relationships, to deliver a superior patient experience, exceed expectations of key customers and become bestinclass in Transplants.
  • The First Line Manager acts in compliance with laws, internal regulations, company strategies & Takeda's corporate philosophy and supports in achievement of company objectives.

_ ACCOUNTABILITIES_

  • Prioritize and manage accounts within assigned territory by assessing appropriate business opportunities through contacts with key opinion leaders and important local players.
  • Formulate comprehensive and insightful key account plans to build, manage and improve trustful relationships with these key stakeholders, whilst maximizing Takeda performance.
  • Shape and implement innovative offerings to meet account needs.
  • Evaluate market trends and identify market opportunities offering the efficient allocation of budget and resources, according to local regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Provide periodic reports to the Business Unit Head in relation to local market performance and occurring changes. Periodically revises Action Plans to ensure alignment.
  • Develop relationship and partnership with Key Opinion Leaders at local level, in order to ensure adequate representation of the company.
  • Orchestrate and coordinate activities within assigned key accounts across all Takeda teams.
  • Operate in a manner that is always in line with compliance and legal requirements and according to the marketing and sales strategies.
  • Gain and share customer insights through appropriate and relevant customer and account profiling.
  • Perform local marketing and sales analyses and gain patient flow insights.
  • Share best practice within/outside his/her own team.
  • Act as an ambassador for the Takeda brand, its vision and values that achieves patient focus at all levels of the business.
  • Track and communicate KPIs.
  • Manage own team in order to improve their motivation and enhance their professional development, in line with Human Resources policies at local and international level.

_ SKILLS and CAPABILITIES_

Required Education, Skills and Experience:


  • Scientific University Degree qualification (mandatory).
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Not less than 45 years of resources leading and management.
  • Attitude to work in a competitive environment.
  • Knowledge of Italian market dynamics, healthcare policy, payer mindset.
  • Analysis, synthesis and communication of clinical information.
  • Mental agility: quick, curious and inquisitive, is oriented towards new approaches and complexity.
  • Strong aptitude for science
  • Proven track record of understanding customers' needs and be able to translate their needs into highly impactful tactics and solutions.
  • Ability to build a collaborative network of relationships with people in a variety of functions and roles.
  • Ability to analyze data, extract qualitative insights and build high level business cases using Excel.
  • Concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Coaching.
  • Ability to independently drive solutions and focus on results.
  • Growthmindset thinking and behavior: such as sharing information, collaborating, innovating, seeking feedback, or admitting errors.

Preferred:


  • Pharmaceutical product launch experience
  • Experience in calling on specialists involved in transplant: Hematologist Oncologist, Infectious Disease, Transplant Organ Specialists
  • Experience in other functions outside of sales, such as marketing, market access or medical
