LGM is specialized services group with operations in France, Germany, Belgium, Canada, India, Spain, UK, and USA.

They are recognized in range of disciplines such as reliability, safety, logistics support analysis, maintenance planning, reliability centered maintenance, technical publications production chain, multimedia supported training, through life costing.

Business areas are mainly the Defence Industry with Government Agencies or Defence Contractors and the transport industry at large.

LGM intends to structure their organization in the Italian market, so we are searching their:

ITALY BRANCH MANAGER:

Main responsibilities:

Capturing projects opportunities
Delivering the projects
Appointing and managing the projects workforce

Of specific relevance are the activities of:

Commercial focus to visit and meet local customers in view of getting invitations to bids and placing bids, with systematic customer relationship management.
Seeing to the office administration of the organisation, maintaining all databases such as market studies, customer profiles, references books, projects accounting.
Identifying available skilled resources, then recruiting and managing employees, thus defining and opening the positions to fulfil the work breakdown structure, selecting, appoint recruits. In the midterm offer career development to employees and create the local company collective identity to be perceived by employees.
Company promotion through lobbying and attendance to professional events and workshops, localization work to adapt our huge references database, constant updating of our website to increase impact, incorporation of the company in the supply chain of would be customers.
Delivering awarded projects in person to meet contractual schedules.
Acting as project interface with the customer and monitoring internal contract performance, meaning on time cost and quality deliveries.

He/she will ideally offer the combination of a fair engineering academic background, the experience and specific technical skills for project execution in our business areas, with commercial capabilities to pull these up, and the management practice to attract, select, and appoint skilled labour for the projects.

Initiative is required at all stages of the business cycle to strike the right balance between developing the required market in depth knowledge, segmentation, players identification and performing the resulting orders.
