Calypso Functional Analyst


We are seeking a highly motivated e and experienced
Calypso
Functional Analyst to join
a World Top Player IT Company in the banking sector The resource will be hired at the
Milan office.


As a
Calypso Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for IT solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and Project Managers.

Responsibilities:


  • Project scope definition (problem/request understanding, analysis and impact assessment);
  • Business requirements, proposed solution analysis;
  • Testing scenario and planning;
  • User acceptance test (to support Finance user in the test results analysis and validation);
  • Contribution to Centrally managed projects (change requests with systems architecture;
  • Impact, systems' enhancement, process reengineering, operational process automation, new systems implementation/migrations, new regulatory requests, etc.);
  • Contribution to functional specification and solution design (to ensure local specific requirements if any are taken into account).

Requirements:


  • Business school or University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting, Finance;
  • 36 years of experience in the Banking sector for Capital Markets (Back Office, Financial Accounting, Reporting);
  • Experience as business analyst in Finance systems/interfaces projects (business analysis, functional requirements, User Acceptance testing);
  • Good knowledge of Back Office systems;
  • Knowledge of Back Office processes in Banking and Capital Market industry;
  • IT skills: Excel advanced user, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Project Management tools (ALM, Jira) would be a plus;
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written);
  • Good communication (spoken and written) and capability to work and interact with people of different expertise and hierarchical level;
  • Ability to adapt to change and client oriented;
  • Collaborative work and team player;
  • Handson approach;
  • Organizational skills: autonomy, capacity to manage several tasks in parallel, to prioritize and to manage a pressure.
