Guy Carpenter is recruiting a technician/assistant broker in the Reinsurance Broker Support division to focus on all aspects of Treaty business with a multi class approach in our
Milan offices.

This position would be ideally suited to anyone looking to develop a career in a Reinsurance Broking firm.

We will count on you to:

• Produce contract documentation to current standards and be familiar with market trends;
• Assist in the production of comprehensive underwriting presentations;
• Use of frontend electronic broking systems as and when required;
• Assist brokers in negotiation with reinsurers during quotation / placement process;
• To be accountable for all aspects of service and support for their Client;
• Update the Client daily with progress achieved

What you need to have:

• 1 to 3 years' experience in insurance/reinsurance industry
• English and Italian fluency both written and spoken, additional language skills are a desirable attribute
• Processing efficiency very good IT skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
• A natural communicator who can engage with others effectively and professionally
• Ability to work as part of a highperformance team
• Attention to detail in completing assigned tasks
• Expectation to work flexible hours depending on your teams' work loads
• Successful management of workload
• Ability to manage and exceed client and stakeholder expectations
• Ability to quickly assess and offer effective solutions to problems efficiently
