**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer Intern to join our team in spectrum engineering studies, aiming at identifying new spectrum opportunities for the advance of 5G and 6G cellular systems.

**Responsibilities:**

Analyze wireless systems operating in new frequency spectrum under study for deployment of the next generation cellular system (i.e., 6G).
Develop system level studies to assess the compatibility between the next generation cellular system and incumbent systems.
Develop and analyze coexistence techniques for co-channel operation across different radio access technologies.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

You are currently enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master's degree course in one of the following majors: Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering.
You will be available for 6 months between March and November 2025.
Advanced programming skills in MATLAB/Python are required.
Solid knowledge of radio communication theory and digital signal processing.

**Estimated Salary**: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

**Location**: Italy.
