MISSION

The
Verification & Validation Manager will be in charge of defining, building and piloting the Factory Integration and Validation Platforms (FIVP) for Urban projects in Italy (Metro Torino, Metro Milano).

For the Torino project, a FIVP is already available in Paris, and the mission is to build a similar platform in Italy, that will take-over in the next phases of the project.

This will require a presence in Paris for several weeks.

For the Milano project, the mission is to adapt the existing FIVP build for earlier phases, to support the new extension projects.

In more details, the V&V Manager will be in charge of:

Providing all the necessary support to the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM) and Verification and Commissioning Manager (V&C) of each project;
Identifying and analyzing the requirements (contractual and technical system requirements) related to the FIVP;
Defining the functional requirement, the architecture of the FIVP; Writes the corresponding documents and plans.
Interacts with other Engineers (designers, T&C engineers) to ensure that the system fits with the intended functions and architecture.
Define the tests to be performed in the FIVP laboratory, in collaboration with the Verification and Commissioning Manager; Produce the corresponding documents and plans ;
Configuring test tools and benches, to support the system integration and validation;
Coordinating and monitoring the Test activities ; Running and executing the tests ;
Delivering the test reports and associated indicators;
Supporting the Verification and Test & Commissioning teams;

REQUIREMENTS

Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree preferably in Electronics, Electrical, Software Mechanics, Telecommunication Engineer, Aerospace, Civil Transportation)
Flexibility and Trouble shooting skills.
Strong analytical skills and work ethic
Customer orientation
English and Italian are mandatorily required (English B2 recommended)
Preferable knowledge of Metro Signalling domain

Availability to travel to Paris for the first three months (where is currently the FIVP for the Torino project)
