Silverback Staffing Ltd is helping a collaborative company recruit a Mechanical Commissioning Technician to work on a large industrial project, and the role comes with an attractive contract pay rate.

As a Mechanical Commissioning Technician, you will join our clients site in the giga factory sector. You will be responsible for commissioning facilities equipment on both utility and process systems.

• Generation and execution of commissioning documentation such as OATs and FATs (Operational and Functional acceptance tests)
• Working with operations and engineering teams to develop testing protocols and startup procedures
• Carrying out QA/QC walks of mechanical systems and equipment, identifying punch list items and rectifying them before startup
• Commissioning mechanical equipment.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of industry experience with a maintenance background
• Working knowledge of industrial rotary and piping systems and equipment
• An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a busy environment
