    Position Summary

    This position is a key role in S&OP (Sales & Operation Planning) & IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process of Samsung. Being in charge of demand planning for Divisonal Product groups, he/she will work closely with national key accounts to finalize long term sales plan by SKU and by customer.
    Moreover, should support KAM identify the market needs of each SKU in each channel, by analyzing all the factors affecting the demand, such as sales order status, market feedback, channel's inventory status, credit, competition, market trends, PLC (product life cycle), etc., in most efficient way. By doing so, delivering the most reliable and realistic demand plan by channel by model to ensure the proper supply planning & adequate channel inventory planning for reducing supply chain cost.

    Role and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a detailed channel PSI (Purchasing, Sales, Inventory) analysis and forecast sell-out trend, collecting marketing, sales order & product availability information. Find implications from the analysis, and actively suggest efficient demand plans to sales team.
  • Bridge the Planning ~ Execution through weekly communication with customers on demand plans, and through daily communication with Sales Operation and other SCM team members.
  • Shape the demand together with KAM and supply planner
  • Provide weekly or ad-hoc demand planning analysis and reporting: analysis of WOS level, Forecast Shape, etc.
  • Support management in decision-making with data analyses
  • Manage the master data for planning system and execution system integrated
  • E-store (online dedicated account) demand and stock management through weekly meeting with online team
  • Sales support in terms of tools and information sharing, guiding sales people to comply with supply guidelines and reach demand consensus
  • S&Op assistance in maintenance of shared working tools and compliance to Company procedures
  • Stock management to support daily operations
  • Skills and Qualifications

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Educational Background: Master / Bachelor in SCM, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or in Data Science.

    Professional Background: at least one year's experience in SCM / analytical tasks, consumer electronics or FMCG industry experience preferred.

    Computer Knowledge: Excellent Office package especially Excel, Qlik and SAP knowledge

    Language Knowledge: Good written & spoken English & Italian

    Others: Excellent analytical skill & intelligence, Good communication skill with customers or with other teams, good coordination skills between sales and operation.
