Job Summary:

We are looking for ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated person with outstanding communication, problem solving and analytical skills.

Safety Health & Environmental Manager will be responsible to drive Safety Health and Environment key performance indicators in the factory.

You will be based in
Rubiera, Italy and will report to the Factory Director.


What you will do:

As Safety, Health & Environment Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Cover the position of RSPP (Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione) for the Factory and for Rubiera site
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment local legal requirements, corporate OHS and Environment policies, ISO standards including reporting
  • Drive SHE key performance indicators in the factory through World Class Manufacturing methodology (WCM)
  • Execute and implement the SHE programs and policies
  • Ensure SHE hazards and aspects are appropriately identified and managed to acceptable levels of risk
  • Lead the Safety & Health pillar, within World Class Manufacturing organization, to drive zero accidents mindset in the factory
  • Ensure that training program is in place to cover the local legal requirements and corporate OHS procedures aiming for significant risks eradication
  • Conduct accident / incident investigation and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated promptly whereby causes are determined with implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Be responsible for implementing and maintaining SHE Management System and ensure third party audits are planned and executed according to the requirements
  • Be a member of the Factory Management Team and WCM Steering Committee

We believe you have:


  • University degree in any of technical science faculties
  • Qualification as RSPP according to the Italian legislation
  • Experience in managerial OHS role or similar in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety & environmental regulations and local legislation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in incident investigation, root cause analysis and problem solving
  • Strong ability to learn, personal drive and interest in developing self and others
  • Strong collaborative team player and assertive to drive SHE initiatives
  • Fluent in English and in Italian
