We are looking for a brilliant resource to join our Finance Share Service Center as a Purchase to Pay Team Leader.

What does the role involve?:


In our Finance Shared Service Center you will manage the accounting operations for different market organizations, working in an extraordinary international environment.


Your main respondabilities will be:

  • Analyse & steer the Purchase to Pay KPIs (key performance indicators) and derive improvements for the Purchase to Pay processes
  • Develop a high performing Purchase to Pay team in direct responsibility and foster & leverage diversity & inclusion
  • Manage & steer Purchase to Pay function incl. month end closing (MEC) & year end closing (YEC) tasks in the Purchase to Pay area
  • Ensure compliant Purchase to Pay processes and consistent and correct financial bookings in the area of Invoice Management, Travel & Expense Management & Vendor Account Management
  • Be a sparring partner for the FBPs by linking business decisions to PtP processes and by delivering and improving agreed Purchase to Pay services to the entities in scope
  • Ensure compliance with group & indirect tax (VAT) requirements
  • Operate and monitor Purchase to Pay related ICS (Internal Control System) controls
  • Contribute to internal & external audits for the Purchase to Pay function

What you need is:


  • Bachelor or master's degree in business, Finance or similar or equivalent finance qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in a financial leadership role within a multinational Shared Service Center
  • Holistic Finance process understanding to manage Purchase to Pay function incl. month end closing (MEC) & year end closing (YEC) tasks in the Purchase to Pay area
  • Proficient in both Italian and English written & verbal communication skills
  • Expertise in SAP S/4
