    Seeking a motivated Purchasing Assistant to contribute to our team's success.

    The role reports directly to the Director of Purchasing, overseeing key purchasing functions and responsibilities.

    Located in Rome, Italy, Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a 5-star hotel offering premium business services and exceptional leisure experiences.

    Main duties include:

    • Purchasing Operations: Assist with procurement, vendor management, and inventory control.
    • Sourcing and Negotiations: Identify and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and quality.
    • Category Management: Analyze market trends and optimize purchasing strategies for various categories.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity.
    • Pricing and Cost Control: Monitor and analyze prices, costs, and margins to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis on purchasing performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement.

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain roles.
    • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication skills.
