We are currently looking for an exceptional Linear Algebra Professor. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as applications will be processed on a rolling basis.

You will teach in the STEM Department and to our students enrolled in the first year of our Bachelor's Degrees.

Indicative module content Vectors and matrices:
definitions, properties, operations, and examplesMatrix algebra: addition, subtraction, multiplication, inverse, transpose, and rankLinear equations: systems of linear equations, Gaussian elimination, and LU factorizationDeterminants and eigenvalues: definitions, properties, and calculationVector spaces and linear transformations: subspaces, basis, and dimensionOrthogonality and least squares regressionLinear regression: simple and multiple linear regression models, residuals, diagnosticsPrincipal components analysis: dimensionality reduction, eigenvectors and eigenvalues, and applicationsMultivariate statistics: multivariate normal distribution, covariance matrix, and Mahalanobis distanceQualifications Requested A relevant master's degree or Phd qualification (eg: Statistics, Mathematics, or another related field from an accredited, state-approved programme).Resident in Italy

Fluent English:

reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR level C1-C2).Contract Duration 2nd term (January-July h of teaching + assessment and other academic related activities Experience A minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a university environment.

Relevant teaching experience within the subject area(s)Evaluate and provide regular feedback on students' exercises, projects and examinations.

Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
Planning and organisational skills.
