Isolated Power and Interlink Applications Engineer Intern

Role Description


Analog Devices offers full-time paid placement opportunities to 70+ students each year across a wide range of functions and disciplines.

As a placement student, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented teams of engineers on very challenging work assignments.

You will play an integral part in the development of our products.


To be eligible for the placement program, you should be currently enrolled in Master Degree (or PhD) of Electronics or related fields (e.g.

Software, Computer Science, Physics). This role is compatible with working on the Master Thesis during the internship program. As a valued team member, students at ADI are assigned real work projects that are both meaningful and exciting. Our experienced engineers take their roles as mentors seriously as they want to see you succeed.

The duration of the internship is usually between 6 and 12 months, and will be discussed during the interview. There is a competitive salary associated with the internship.

Your short-term experience at ADI just might be the launch of a long-term career. At ADI we view your time on placement student as an extended interview.

Responsibilities:


Primary responsibilities include developing technical solutions and creating content that describe the products we're making such that it can be shared with customers or publications to improve our business.

Responsibilities include learning about the products we are making such that they can make product presentations or advertisements for publications:

  • Create new PCB and technical documentation that describe our products that can be shared easily to customers and have them excited about using our products.
  • Write articles for journals that build awareness of our products and overall brand
  • You will work within a crossdiscipline team to efficiently bring new products to market. Developing your system and customer knowledge helps the team to make informed, evidencebased decisions.
The Person

Basic understanding of PCB design, lab measurements, software-assisted automation (e.g. Python, C, Labview) and microcontroller coding are beneficial.

Basic understanding of dc-dc switching converters, gate drivers, power controllers.

Knowledge of PCB design (Cadence Allegro) and simulation (LTSpice) tools is a plus

Collaborative, interactive, and open-minded characters are desirable

Strong verbal and written communication skills
