- Architect and deploy robust, highly available cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation
- Design and manage complex VPCs, subnets, security groups, and network configurations
- Develop and maintain Lambda functions to automate tasks and optimize processes
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and alarming solutions to ensure system health and performance
- Establish and enforce IAM policies and best practices in alignment with security and ISO 27K guidelines
- Champion cost control initiatives, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency
- Proactively collaborate with development teams, proposing innovative AWS solutions to address complex challenges
- Participate in off-hours deployments and troubleshooting to ensure application availability
- Work seamlessly with internal security teams to establish robust secure environments
- Significant hands-on experience as an AWS Solutions Architect or similar role
- Proficiency in designing and implementing large-scale production AWS environments
- In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM, etc.)
- Experience setting up and managing monitoring tools (CloudWatch, third-party solutions)
- Strong understanding of security best practices within ISO 27K or comparable framework
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
- AWS certifications
- Experience working with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
