Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:

  • To drive profitable and sustainable business and market share growth in the Italian marketplace, building a consumer centric strategy across all local and x-border channels by influencing all key internal & external stakeholders to deliver One Brand & Commercial execution at the eyes of consumers. All this while respecting the strategy of the adidas brand and embodying company values.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive profitable and sustainable Market Share Growth.
  • Gain a clear knowledge of the Market scenario in our Country through a wide vision of competitors and industry trends.
  • Ensure an integrated Country strategy across all sales channels, online and offline
  • Design the Channels Operating rythm and interaction model at italian level
  • Influence internal & external stakeholders as trusted advisor & represent the unique point of contact for European Teams internally & externally.
  • Drive regular reporting (Sellout, KPIs), maximizing sell out and driving marketplace analysis, Geomapping and whitespot/overdistribution management.
  • Identify opportunities & promote from insights to action culture especially for our Accounts.
  • Be the point of contact for European Accounts, leading recurrent meeting to ensure an integrated plan maximising Business Opportunities.
  • Support and facilitate the Trade Terms strategy to ensure ROI maximization and market share gains
  • Drive Trade investment letters & Trade general condition letters process.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills, tools knowledge, strong storyteller, fast big picture builder, forecasting acumen
  • Commercial & biz acumen, negotiation, fast decisionmaker, proactive mindset (being intepreneur), clear understanding and commitment to company goals
  • Challenging status quo, pragmatism, be a curious leader, bring innovation, continuous betterment
  • Strong Leadership Skills (stress management, agile, prioritization, multitasking, people management)
  • Interpersonal skills, influencing capabilities, comms skills, empathy, engagement
  • Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
  • Functional: > 5 years sales / marketing, working as/with Strategic / Alliance / Key Accounts
  • Leadership: > 3 years of experience
  • Exposure: sports, marketing, account marketing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • IT skills: Advanced MS Office Skills.
