Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated technician to join our research team at the Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine in Pozzuoli, Naples, Italy. The successful candidate will be working on high throughput and high content screening projects to identify novel regulators of selective autophagy.

The role involves supporting the laboratory's work with routine experiments such as western blotting, genotyping, DNA preparation, and protein purifications.

The ideal candidate should have a master's degree in biology or a related field and possess strong basic molecular and cell biology techniques skills (PCR, cloning, RT-PCR, western-blot, cell culture, transfection, ELISA, etc.). Experience in lab animal handling is an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Support high throughput and high content screening projects to identify novel regulators of selective autophagy
• Perform routine experiments including western blotting, genotyping, DNA preparation, and protein purifications
• Contribute to the development of new experimental approaches and protocols

Requirements:

• Master's degree in biology or a related field
• Strong background in basic molecular and cell biology techniques (PCR, cloning, RT-PCR, western-blot, cell culture, transfection, ELISA, etc.)
• Experience in lab animal handling is an asset
