Job Summary:


We are now looking for an experienced engineer who can take the role as Safety & Compliance Expert for Export Control in our Safety & Compliance organization.

The main responsibilities will be to securing the Packaging Equipment are compliant with Export control regulations.
This is a permanent position based in
Modena, Italy.


What you will do:

As a Safety & Compliance Expert in the area of Export Control, you will:

  • You will be working as an Export Control Advisor and be the first point of contact in the organization and proactively support the development teams on export control matters.
  • Drive Export control assessments and classifications of Packaging equipment and software according to the key decision points deliverables in product creation process.
  • Participate and collaborate with Export control central team, in projects improving the methodologies and in evaluation of impact of new regulatory requirements. Tetra Pak, an international company, needs to stay updated with all relevant international export control regulations.
  • Participate in Export Control network externally and internally.
  • Deliver Export control training to development teams to secure that the organization have Export control knowledge to deliver products compliant with the international regulations.
  • The international regulatory landscape continuously increases in complexity which requires to stay updated and to adapt the way of working.
  • Lead continuous way of working improvements to secure productivity and enable fulfilment of new and changed requirements.

  • You have a degree within Automation or Mechatronics Engineering
  • We believe you have at least 4 years of experience in engineering, automation. Export control work experience or a degree in Export control is a great benefit.
  • We also think you have experience from working in multicultural teams.
  • Good leadership and communication skills with high informal authority.
  • You are a networker with the ability to convey a message in a positive and attractive way.
  • You are accurate, always delivering with high quality and you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You can easily cope with change and is not upset when things are up in the air.
  • Communication skills in English, both written and spoken on excellent level.
