Position Summary:

Main Responsibilities:


  • Design products using 3D CAD programs and consult with engineering and manufacturing team members to ensure that designs are feasible.
  • Performing computer simulations and experiments to virtually test and analyse the designs.
  • Follow the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing.
  • Draft project documentation as technical specifications, drawings, BoMs, assembly diagrams, etc.
  • Find technical solution coworking with suppliers, factory and other involved functions.
  • Preparing technical drawings, reports and design specifications documents.
  • Manage product data with use of PDM/PLM tool.
  • Carry out Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VA/VE) reviews.

Job Position Requirements:


Education:
Universitiy Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering


Professional background:

Minimum experience of 3-5 years in mechanical design (in power electronics and electric drives field is considered as a plus).


Hard Skills:


  • Essential:_
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Deep knowledge of CAD 2D/3D tools (preferred Siemens NX) and drawings rules.
  • Proficient technical skills Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Technical background in mechatronics products.
  • Good knowledge of molding to design models and create according product dimensions.
  • Considered as a plus:_
  • Use of PDM/PLM programs (preffered Siemens Teamcenter).
  • Experience with DFMEA and tolerances analysis.
  • Fundamentals of plastics and metals (including finishings).
  • Accuracy on project deliveries following internal process.
  • Basics of CFD (computational fluid dynamics) simulations.
  • Ability to use mechanical measurements tools and machines.

Soft Skills:


  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward.
  • Able to work focused on targets, taking responsibility able to drive project results.
  • Able to work independently and cooperatively with a largely diverse cross functional group and international multicultural environment.
  • Strong Teamwork approach and organizations skills.
