Important Italian multinational company, a point of reference in the automotive sector, partner of prestigious car manufacturers, in order to boost the R&D International Team, required us to look for:
**TEAM LEADER R&D - AUTOMOTIVE
A Team Leader is a professional who is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects.

They plan, schedule, coordinate and monitor all the technical tasks of their assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Main contact points to customer: Interact daily with the customer to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the team
  • Create the development plan: milestone, human resources, budget.
  • Assign responsibilities/tasks and mentor project team
  • Keep regular monitoring on development activities / requirements definition / milestones and approval gates
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status
  • Keep regular monitor and maintenance of resources allocation to the project
  • Keep information flowing through the development team (regular reporting/ meeting minutes)
  • Lead and monitor DFMEA and Risk Analysis updates
  • Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
  • Maintain regular report to upper management
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants (System Engineer, HW Engineer, SW Engineer, Designers, CAE Engineer, Testing Engineer) to provide assistance and technical support

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master Degree in Engineering
  • Full proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong knowledge of design topics, coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
  • Ability to oversee all aspect of projects, set deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize progress of project.
  • Prepare reports for management regarding status of project.
  • Ability to combine technical knowledge with communications and liaisons skills, both internally and with Customer
