Central Planning Manager to join the Supply Chain Department of Etex Building Performance Italy, based in Corfinio Plant.

    What you'll do
  • Responsible for EndtoEnd Productive Inventory to meet appropriate Service Levels for all customers (Italy and Intercompany) and cost to the business.
  • Ensure appropriate Network planning including any imports requirements.
  • Lead the DDMRP roll out and operational management for EBP IT, focusing even on how reduce slow moving and avoid obsolete products.
  • Develop local planning to a point where each member can cover all roles and processes within the team ensuring that support is given where needed and achievements are recognised and rewarded.
  • Manage and develop team members to give them every opportunity to reach their potential.
  • Lead, Manage and coordinate the business Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process included demand planning meeting and the MPS process.
  • Support the annual budgeting and planning process.
  • Contribute to improving the Supply Chain process and systems by identifying improvement opportunities working with colleagues in all locations to deliver improvements.
  • Develop and report on key supply/demand indicators such as levels of stock, outofstocks, service and investigate and improve.
  • Manage and develop SAP planning procedures and highlight were processes locally are not operating correctly.
  • Work collaboratively with all other departments and strive for good working relationships through support and effective communication.

About you

What you'll bring

  • Educated to degree level
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to identify process improvements, manage change and delivering quantifiable improvements
  • Experience of Planning within a continuous process industry and a multisite environment
  • Experience of managing Sales & Operational Planning process
  • Experience of team management
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
  • Highly computer literate with experience in using an ERP system (e.g. SAP), and Microsoft Excel to an advanced level
