    The Territory Sales Representative Consumables & IOL is a dynamic and results-driven professional responsible for overseeing and advancing sales activities within the designated territory. This role is pivotal in driving business growth by cultivating strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and effectively promoting our products and services. The incumbent will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, strategizing market penetration, and ensuring the overall success of our sales operations in Lombardy.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as the single point of contact for Customers regarding Consumables and IOL products and services, contributing to the next growth phase and playing a crucial role in expanding BVI's footprint.

    Identify ophthalmic solutions and business opportunities, create an Account and KOLs strategy, and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to after-sale support. Ensure a seamless customer experience by selecting solutions that align with Customer's needs and expectations in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Cap.Eq. & VR team, Marketing, etc.). Negotiate contracts in compliance with company policies and current regulations.

    Organize and provide demonstrations to new and existing Customers, assist in coordinating conferences, workshops, and training events.

    Take ownership of local customer complaints and questions, handling them promptly and professionally. Report any information related to potential safety issues of the products promptly.

    Stay updated on developments and changes in local competitors' activities. Communicate relevant information to the manager and colleagues. Provide feedback through reporting systems and ensure that feedback is acted upon.

    Attend national and international sales meetings as required. Develop and maintain a reliable network of key opinion leaders and product champions. Enhance and maintain strong product knowledge for engaging in professional dialogues with specified customer groups.

    Embrace teamwork to maximize cross-selling opportunities across categories, including Consumables, VR, Cap Equip, and IOL.

    Qualification

    5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the medical device sector or within the hospital environment. Operating Theatre experience with Surgeons and Theatre Sisters is a distinct advantage.

    Native-level proficiency in Italian, good knowledge of spoken and written English

    Demonstrated track record in sales with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

    Familiarity with the medical device sector, including an understanding of industry trends, products, and customer needs.

    A customer-centric approach with the ability to tailor solutions accordingly to the customer needs

    Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and industry professionals.

    A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and surpassing sales targets.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and provide effective solutions.

    • Availability on-site in Eastern Lombardy (preferable Bergamo or Brescia)
    • A full driving license is mandatory, along with a flexible approach to travel and working hours.
