Specifically, you will take care of these tasks:

Support the assessment of business decisions based on quantitative analyses and risk implications
Support definition of key technical assumptions (average claims, frequency) for planning purposes, and defininge alternative scenarios to stresstest projections
Calculate and monitor loss ratio at country, product and channel level
Map and quantify technical, financial and strategic risks which Prima is exposed to
Define mitigating actions and escalate to CEO and Board level in case of need
Support negotiations with carriers and reinsurers for renewals and profit commission calculations
Support group and local functions to monitor technical performance and suggest corrective actions
Ensure quality of claims and technical database, also liaising with our finance tech developers
Liaise with technical, risk and audit functions of reinsurers

Responsibilities may develop to reflect both level of experience and the evolving strategy of the business.

Requirements:

8+ years experience in Risk and Analytics positions, preferably with managerial experience in insurance companies or in top tier consulting companies
Strong quantitative academic background, ideally with actuarial or risk qualification (such as ONA, CERA or equivalent)
Positive mindset, ownership mentality and a pragmatic "can do" attitude is key as we rapidly grow
Contentdriven, analytical mindset, with ability to get deep in the details as well as grasping the bigger picture and the business dynamics quickly
Advanced modelling skills
Deep knowledge of nonlife actuarial techniques

Coding working knowledge

We are looking for permanent hires for our new, centrally located Milan Office, Piazzale Loreto 17, We also consider hiring for our offices in Rome, London, Madrid and Amsterdam.
