We are currently looking for an exceptional Probability Professor. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as applications will be processed on a rolling basis.

You will teach in the STEM Department and to our students enrolled in the first year of our Bachelor's Degrees.

We are looking for passionate professors who give their students hope for the future and can help them grow and be better than their previous best.

Indicative module content Introduction to probability:
sample spaces, events, probability axiomsConditional probability: Bayes' theorem, independence, total probability theoremRandom variables: discrete random variables, probability mass function, cumulative distribution functionExpectation and variance: properties, conditional expectation, covarianceJoint probability: joint probability mass function, marginal probability, conditional probabilityDistribution functions: binomial, Poisson, hypergeometric, geometric, and negative binomial, GaussianProbability models: discrete probability distributions, applications to statistical inferenceStochastic methods: Markov chains, random graphsQualifications Requested A relevant master's degree or Phd qualification (eg: Statistics, Mathematics, or another related field from an accredited, state-approved programme).Resident in Italy

Fluent English:

reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR level C1-C2).Contract Duration 2nd term (January-July h of teaching + assessment and other academic related activities Experience A minimum of two years of recent and relevant experience in a university environment.

Relevant teaching experience within the subject area(s)Evaluate and provide regular feedback on students' exercises, projects and examinations.

Proven ability to plan and deliver innovative inquiry-based lessons that engage students and address their diverse learning needs.
Demonstrated ability to use digital tools and resources effectively to enhance learning.
Planning and organisational skills.
