Statutory & Consolidation Manager

Job Summary

Civitanavi wants to include a senior resource who reports directly to the CFO, who will be responsible for managing all the phases relating to the process of consolidating and preparing, independently and with the support of the team, the Group Consolidated Financial Statements and the Separate Financial Statements in compliance with IFRS.

Responsibilities and Duties

Drafting of annual, quarterly and endofmonth financial statements.
Structuring the first preparation of the consolidated financial statements and reporting package for consolidation purposes.
Periodic analysis of the Reporting Packages of the Group companies and reconciliation between local GAAP and IFRS.
Relationship and coordination with the independent auditors for audit activities
Management and coordination of relations with tax consultants, actuarial consultants, etc. as well as with local consultants of foreign companies.
Definition of the calculation of Intercompany services in compliance with the Group's transfer pricing policies.
Interface with Group companies for accounting issues.
Support to Management Control for the definition of Budgets, Forecasts and the relative conversion to IFRS standards.
Support to the CFO for monitoring the governance including the one of foreign companies.
Support the CFO for structuring and analysis of any extraordinary transactions, including M&A, and analysis of IFRS impacts.

Qualification and Skills

Required Skills_
Master's degree in Economics
Experience of at least 5 years gained in the field of consolidated financial statements and reporting and/or auditing at BIG4 is essential. Experience in the role, gained in listed multinational companies, will be considered a plus.
Excellent knowledge of IFRS/IAS as well as accounting records and financial statements.
Good knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
English Language (written and spoken): B2 or greater.
Work passion and aptitude for continuous improvement. Teamwork oriented, also to support other company functions. Ability to operate with accuracy and precision.
Propensity to share work with the team; relational and problemsolving skills.
Optional Skills_
Knowledge of Consolidation tool and/or Microsoft Dynamics Navision
