We seek a Junior Key Account with a permanent contract for our Milan office. This role will require you to be onsite 4 days a week


The Junior Key Account provides sales support to our top trade partners (mainly travel agencies) across Italy in coop with the extended team: Sales leaders; Field Salesforce; Marketing & Trade Marketing; PR and all Paris-based key peers.

The person acts as the first point of contact with the assigned portfolio, answers their queries and secures high standards of client satisfaction.

He/she is in daily contact with them to understand their requirements, to determine their needs, to identify areas of improvement and to work on tailor-made sales plans for each of them.

The Junior Key Account is accountable for executing all customer-oriented initiatives aiming to increase the sales performance of the assigned clients and contribute to the Country targets' achievement.


The Opportunity & Responsibilities:


  • Provide daily pre and aftersales support (from quotations to invoicing passing through technical assistance on our B2B tools)
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients' queries
  • Look after internal processes for annual commercial agreement definition/renewal
  • Follow up all pending requests with Central teams (i.e. booking departments; accounting; guest care) to ensure excellent customer service
  • Deliver regular communication to assigned clients about product novelties, pricing, promotions, trainings, incentive programs and other local initiatives
  • Collaborate with the sales team to keep the local database updated
  • Monitor sales performance on a regular basis and report to Sales leaders
  • Support Sales leaders to create customized sales plans
  • Collaborate with marketing & trade marketing teams to create tailormade B2C communication plans for each partner
  • Assist the sales team in case of special requests which require major attention (i.e. reservations for VIP guests; lastminute requests for Suites and/or other highend services)
  • Organize fam trips
  • Participate in trade events / fairs / roadshows both in Italy and abroad (if needed)
  • Support the development all Disney Destinations lines of business (DLP, WDW, DCL & Parks)

The Experience We Require From You:

  • Previous work experience as Junior Account or similar sales role with assigned clients
  • Fluent in English and Italian written and spoken
  • Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Tourism industry knowledge is a plus
  • Knowledge of French is a plus
  • Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build relationships
  • Effective presentation and negotiation skills
  • Problemsolving approach and ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet browsers
