Together, we forge dynamic, long-term partnerships to develop innovative solutions that meet Europe's growing demand for raw materials.The RoleEIT RawMaterials is seeking a CRM Investment Analyst (m/f/d) to support the CRM-Facility team. The CRM-Facility is Europe's strategic initiative to diversify raw material supplies and reduce dependencies. This role will contribute to strengthening global partnerships and advancing international projects that build sustainable and resilient Critical Raw Materials (CRM) value chains.Key Responsibilities

Identify, assess, and prioritize CRM projects using technical, economic, and ESG frameworks.Conduct market analysis on CRM supply chains, and EU-specific trends.Evaluate commercial and geopolitical factors influencing CRM project development.Engage with stakeholders across industry, government, and research organizations.Support investment decisions through data analysis and valuation assessments.Maintain and utilize CRM project databasesCollaborate with internal teams and external partners to advance CRM initiatives.Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Travel as required to support project development and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

Tertiary education in geosciences or engineering (e.g., geology, mineralogy, geochemistry, metallurgy, process engineering, mining engineering).Relevant work experience applying technical knowledge in the metals & mining sectorStrong understanding of commodity markets, pricing, and value chains within the EUFamiliarity with commercial and geopolitical drivers impacting metals & mining projectsAbility to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Willingness to travel and work across teams.

Skills

Analytical and critical thinking for project evaluation.Knowledge of ESG principles.Investment frameworks.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Understanding of valuation methods for CRM projects (advantageous).Organizational and time management skills for handling multiple projects.

This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located anywhere within the EU.Duration: 2025–2028 (with potential extension).Our Recruitment ProcessThe position will stay open until a successful candidate is chosen.
