Legal Affairs Manager Renewable energy sector
An Italian headquartered start-up operating in the renewable energy sector has instructed us to source a Legal Affairs Manager. The role is based in Milan and reports to the CEO.

To qualify you will:

Be an Italianqualified Lawyer with around 8 years of postqualified experience.
Have solid experience gained in the renewable energy industry as well as knowledge of compliance and data privacy and general commercial contracts gained while working as an inhouse Counsel.
Have experience in drafting contracts (EPCs, O&Ms, NDAs, LOIs, PPAs, sale and purchase of equity investments, warrants, sureties, pledges, contracts, supply, etc.).
Be fluent in English, and knowledge of Spanish will be considered a plus

Your role:

Financing and refinancing operations, on a project finance basis, are aimed at the design and construction of plants owned by the Group.
Management of the Group's extraordinary and strategic transactions (mergers, demergers, capital increases of capital, acquisitions and disposals of shareholdings and business units).
Legal support in the stages of M&A, due diligence, permitting process, and acquisition of land/rights of the surface area aimed at the acquisition/construction of the Group's facilities at a national as well as international level.
Monitoring of company procedures with particular attention to regional regulations and national regulations in the energy sector that may affect the business sectors in which the Group operates.
