Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

Within our Corporate Health, Safety and Environment Function, we are looking for a Safety specialist who will have the following responsibilities:

  • Review existing safety policies and procedures at global level
  • Conduct safety audit and risk assessment within the plants at international level
  • Data check, control and report of Safety KPIs for the Non financial disclosure and Integrated reporting
  • Implement OHS policies and programs (including Behavior Safety Programs)
  • Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis to reinforce culture and professional skills in safety.
  • Contribute to identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
  • Prepare and present reports on accidents and violations and determine causes
  • Contribute to oversee safety projects
  • Continuous monitoring of national and international laws and regulations on the field
Who are we looking for? years' experience in safety within a MNC- Good knowledge of legislations and procedures in Safety - at least UE legislative approach- Good knowledge of potentially hazardous materials and/or technical risk practices (machinery)- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics on safety (lagging and leading indicators)- Familiarity knowledge of safety management systems (OHSAS - ISO Good organizational skills- Good interpersonal and communication skills- BSc/BA in safety management, mechanical/electrical engineering or similar field- Fluency in English language is a must- Expected 20-40% travel abroad
