Webuild is hiring a

Asset and Material Specialist to include in its Bidding Support and Project Start up Team (Global Supply Chain), in its Milan Headquarters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

For his/her own geographic area of competence, he/she will be responsible for:

During the bid study phase and/or new initiative phase, supervising the activities to support the Bidding & Engineering Department, relating to the organization of the P&E structures of the Project, and the possible optimization of the Plants and Machinery needed for executing the Project;
Supporting the project's startup and implementing the P&E structure and the Group's processes, tools, and methods;
Throughout the Project's life cycle, supporting the development and verification of the Plant and Machinery budgets, also verifying all the possibilities for optimization, through possible synergies within the Group;
Analyzing aggregate reporting relating to data and parameters of Plants and Machinery, to define the strategic plan of the Group's machinery;
Managing transversal projects of continuous improvement, efficiency, innovation in the Plant & Equipment field, on a global perimeter.

REQUIREMENTS

MSc University Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree;
Minimum 35 years of experience in similar roles, within structured and international organizations, and preferably gained in the Construction, Plant Engineering and/or Oil & Gas sector, also preferably including at least 34 years of experience in the complex projects field;
Knowledge of technologies, products, plants and machinery used in the sector, as well as all related processes (acquisition and commissioning, maintenance, whole life cycle management, certifications and applicable legislation, management of associated costs, spare parts, decommissioning, logistics issues)
Structured approach, combined with the ability to develop and manage complex plans;
Ability to analyze, plan, budget and monitor costs;
Problem solving and a resultoriented approach;
Leadership and capable of coordinating resources in multicultural contexts and complex structures;
Collaborative approach, interpersonal and negotiation skills;
Excellent knowledge of the Office package (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Knowledge of the main analysis and planning tools;
Fluent Italian, fluent English; knowledge of a second foreign language (French, Spanish) is a plus;
Willing to travel globally.
