Role Purpose:


As a Security Sales Specialist, initially your customer base will be growing a subset of existing mid size and large Vodafone Corporate customers who need to increase the Cyber awareness and are looking to grow their security estate.

The focus will be on key major Enterprise customers that have a large presence in the Italian or Spanish market and with needs that are well covered from the Vodafone Business Security Portfolio (i.e. Mobius).

They will work in an overlay capacity to provide support, expertise and guidance to the wider sales and solution teams as well as our customers.


With us you will:


You will be responsible for signing new contracts with established Corporate accounts, ensuring that high levels of client face-to-face engagement are established and maintained, and new product and services propositions positively are represented at the client.

Drive Vodafone Business Security (i.e.

Mobius) growth by delivering increased year on year revenue, gross profit and total contract value (TCV).Meet and exceed sales targets.

Build and maintain executive relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as a trusted advisor to ensure retention and growth in spend.

Manage multiple opportunities through the entire business cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary.

Maps the customers buying centre, identifying influencers and decision makers and win them over with a consultative approach in order to position Vodafone as a successful partner in the implementation of complex ICT projects.


Key accountabilities and decision ownership Opportunity management:
Partnerwith Go to MarketField Sales and Pre-Sales to close contracts, manage execution of bids, develop client conversations, cultivate trusted and enduring client relationships and prioritise the pipeline

End-to-end ownership of proposals:
Take the lead to co-ordinate content and SME input into proposals and bids, adhering to Mobius Sales best practice and ensuring proposed solutions are commercially compellingBridge between Field Sales & Pre-Sales:
Articulate Vodafones Mobius product suite in both highly technical language as well as simple explanation

Sales strategy:
Undertaking client mapping exercises relevant to Mobius coverage areas

Sales execution:
Achieve quota targets, proactively responding to inbound inquiries and self-generated leads based on a deep market and product understanding

Market awareness:
Educate and advise existing and new customers on the necessity of strong cyber security practices and the value proposition of the Mobius offering

Core Competencies:


Ideally 2-3 years of experience in Sales, with a proven track record in solution selling (over-achieving target regularly).Understanding of security product and security expertise.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated, ambitious and innovation hungry.
Ability to work as an individual contributor or team player.

Fluent in English and mother tongue ItalianDesired/must have technical/professional qualifications:

Proven track record of securing commitment with corporate customers to achieve joint objectives.
Proven experience in security services, industry certifications are a plus.
Extensive and strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand business strategy.
Broad understanding of customer needs; business cases and how customers use our technology.
