WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Key responsability:

  • Optimize global commodity strategy for assigned commodity.
  • Adjust and optimize global supplier base.
  • Support risk, capacity
- and shortage management.

  • Support and lead a team of local buyers.
  • Negotiate global contracts and pricing.
  • Identify and release new suppliers.
  • Support benchmark activities.
  • Supplier visits, conduct and accompany workshops, onsite audits, etc.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Skills:


  • Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in a global purchasing organisation with automotive or engineering background
  • Good technical knowledge in productions processes
  • Elastomer commodity knowledge is a plus
  • Good PC und SAPknowledge
  • Sophisticated purchasing, technical, commercial knowledge
  • Leadership skills, team player
  • High intercultural skills, strong communication
  • Willingness to travel
  • Negotiation skills and experience
  • Business fluent English language knowledge

Educational Requirements:

  • Degreed technical engineer
