We are looking for a Technical Procurement Global Deployment Leader based in Crespellano, Italy, who will lead Global & inter-Regional Sourcing activities of production equipment and services within high complex / strategic CAPEX projects/biddings to ensure their availability at optimal cost, while aligning with PMI internal requirements and external market dynamics.

Your day to day

Strategic development and deployment

  • Lead the execution of endtoend Global Source Plan by handling biddings of projects based on business and TP strategies, business demand and compliance requirements to ensure successful projects' completion.
  • Connect and coordinate with regional Procurement teams when Global project require local support.
  • Gather demand data to be considered in developing Global TP strategy, yearly negotiations with OEMs and execution of Global RFQs.
  • Collaborate on the development of TP category strategies in coordination with TP Category Managers and Sr Business Stakeholders considering business impact, cost optimization, supply security, value creation, potential risks and their mitigation, process improvement opportunities and contribution.
Supplier relationship management

  • Request and provide feedback on global suppliers' performance in region, through relative critical metrics and suppliers performance assessment that are presented in quarterly business reviews with suppliers.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met by both PMI and strategic suppliers
  • Drive the escalation path if supplier performance is not positive.
Demand and stakeholder management

  • Gather new projects, understanding category strategy and global sourcing solutions and deploying it accordingly.
  • Coordinate regular drumbeats with relevant partners to ensure partnership in projects management, PDCA cycle, align on current and future business priorities.
  • Lead the demand from business partners considering projects, budget, supply expectations and prioritization.
Drive value out of supplier base

  • Create and implement a balanced "collaborative" contribution pipeline based on high complex CAPEX projects and deploy global contribution initiatives.
  • Constantly search for contribution opportunities adding new value within the business, using volumes, introducing market innovations, lowering procurement cost, using global and other regions methodologies, challenging status quo, cooperating with partners.
Standardize & simplify processes/specifications

  • Identify and lead high complex optimization initiatives related to TP processes. Take an active role in crossregional complex optimization programs, through sharing and implementing standard methodologies. Ensure internal partners understand the value of standardization & simplification and follow the standard & cost driven approach in their projects/initiatives.
Sustainability

  • Enhance implementation of sustainability program leaning on reliable collaboration with regional strategic suppliers. Making valuable contributions to Responsible Sourcing Principles deployment, providing process and performance requirements applicable to all suppliers doing business with PMI. Support supplier's engagement with the focus on human rights, environment and business integrity.
Compliance/ environment, health and safety

  • Ensure full compliance with local legislation and adhere EHS rules, company policies and practices.
  • Lead contractual agreements and follow up on contract execution in line with company processes and procedures.

We're looking for someone with:

  • University degree in economics/finance/supply chain management/engineering
  • Minimum 4 years professional experience in procurement or engineering with exposure to multinational environment
  • Advanced in English

  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Procurement, SC or Engineering experience
  • ProcuretoPay/SourcetoPay process knowledge, Financial foresight, IP literacy, Legal fundamentals
