HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

The Global Sustainability Specialist will:

  • Manage the sustainability reporting process at the Group level, collaborating with other Corporate Functions and Country local teams to collect and consolidate quantitative and qualitative ESG data throughout the Group, with a particular focus on environmental data (ex. energy consumption, GHG emissions, waste, water).
  • Manage and implement the Group global climate strategy (full GHG inventory management, including all relevant Scope 3 categories analysis; definition of carbon reduction targets, implementation and management of relevant carbon reduction initiatives, monitoring of Science Based Targets emission reduction trajectory adherence).
  • Draft the Group's Non-Financial Statement (Sustainability Report) in compliance with the Italian Legislative Decree 254/2016 and according to GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards, including supervising materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement activities, and supporting the related thirdparty audit activities. Implement and manage the Group's Sustainability Plan and strategy, by designing new targets with Corporate functions and collaborating on global projects in order to contribute positively and proactively to Amplifon's reputation, commercial competitive advantage, and longterm shared value creation. Answer ESG questionnaires from rating agencies & indices (ex. S&P CSA/DJSI, CDP, MSCI, ISS; Vigeo, Sustainalytics) and from institutional investors, consolidating relationships with both parties, and analyze Company's performances in the ESG ratings to improve Amplifon's scores through the launch of specific action plans. Codesign and implement ESGrelated Group policies and work effectively with other relevant functions across the business to launch and coordinate activities and help drive strategic initiatives (ex. with Procurement & Supply Chain, Communication, Internal Audit & Risk Management, HR/D&I, etc.). Support external & internal communication activities related to the sustainability strategy (ex. corporate website, internal ESG newsletter, intranet, induction activities, public speech, internal training, engagement, and awarenesstraining activities, etc.). Actively monitor and analyze sustainability legislation (ex. EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, TCFD, EU Taxonomy, etc.), best practices, and reporting standards and implement improvement actions.

What you'll need to succeed

  • First of all, being a genuine sustainability professional, passionate and enthusiastic
  • Master's degree in engineering (environmental, energy, management engineering) or management, finance, economics or other relevant disciplines;
  • At least 3/4 years of experience in sustainability and climate change units in professional firms (audit & advisory) or multinational companies
  • Expert knowledge of issues surrounding ESG and sustainability matters, with a strong focus on sustainability reporting framework and standards and on climaterelated strategies
  • Knowledge of the main sustainability ratings (S&P CSA/DJSI, CDP, MSCI, Sustainalytics, Vigeo, ISS, etc.) and frameworks (Sustainable Development Goals, UNGC, TCFD, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset for data analysis, planning and control, with high attention to details
  • Proactive attitude to research and learning, openness to innovation, and teamwork approach
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively assist in the management of multiple projects, ability to work in a fastpaced environment, and able to cope with pressure
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Good written communication skills
  • Experienced in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent people skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential information
