    Within the Onshore Construction Europe department of RWE Renewables, RWE collaborates with several companies (such as contractors, consultants, etc.), which deliver technical documentation related to construction projects.

    The Assistant Construction Project Manager is an active member of the Project Team and supports the Project Manager Construction (PMC) and the other team members in managing and coordinating the project documentation. The Documentation Coordinator will be involved in more than one project at the same time, in one or more countries. In particular, the Construction Support has to facilitate and oversee the process of exchange, revision and storage of the documents, both internally and externally (i.e. received from other companies). He/she supports the PMC on the entire process of purchasing goods and services and on the Grid connection matter during the construction phase.

    On behalf of the Project Manager Construction and in relation to the project specific agreed tasks, the Assistant Construction:

  • Facilitates the exchange of documents received from other companies, by communicating regularly with them on the current status of the project's documentation
  • Ensures the correctness of the technical documentation, by sharing it within the reviewers (either in RWE or external consultants) as indicated by the Project Manager Construction, and collecting their feedback and addressing deviations to the relevant companies for remediation
  • Stores safely all the necessary documents on the storage system used in the Project, after they have been checked, if necessary amended and finally confirmed by the reviewers.
  • Supports the other Project Team members during the process of storage of the documentation
  • Follow up with the Grid Code and ensure the wind farm / turbine compliance when necessary
  • Management of the different stages of a Grid Connection project including completion of the technical and administrative inputs.
  • Monitoring of the different milestones to get ready to commission in time the Wind farm with the DSO/TSO.
  • Technical support on projects regarding grid connection constraints
  • Creation of Purchase Requisitions, Call-Offs, Good Receipts and Service Entry Sheets
  • supporting the Construction PM for all commercial aspects of project implementation: billing and orders, payments, subcontractors handling, procurement liaison
  • Requirements:

  • Work student/new graduate, preferably in scientific disciplines or engineering
  • Italian and English are required. An additional European language is an advantage.
  • MS Office tools regular user, including MS Project. Experience with DMS is an advantage.
  • Very well structured, precise and punctual, eager to work in a multicultural environment, in the renewable energy sector.
