    Area Manager Reliability Maintenance Engineering is a key role within Amazon Operations, responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

    Purpose of the Job:

    We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Area Manager to lead a team of engineering technicians in ensuring high levels of equipment availability and safety standards.

    The successful candidate will have significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles and multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead, support and mentor a team of engineering technicians to work in a safe, standard and efficient manner.
    • Collaborate with the Site Safety department and Site Leadership to implement safety and statutory compliance programs.
    • Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide high levels of equipment availability.
    • Organize training programs to ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for shifts.

    Requirements:

    • Significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles.
    • Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
    • Ability to communicate in English and local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
    • Experience of working to health & safety standards and regulations.
