If you are a professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an appealing role for you Based in our Lugagnano Facility, Italy, Commodity Leader will be responsible to drive incumbent supplier abilities to meet or exceed cost containment plans, on-time delivery targets, monitor key overall commodity performance indicators, identify environmental sustainability related supply chain optimization opportunities and drive implementation of projects to achieve and sustain improved supply chain performance.


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Commodity Perimeter:Forging and Iron-Aluminum casting (Usd 5M);

Strategy:Set up a current commodity strategy and to control the execution. To design the medium and long term strategy in line with our HC/BC policy and KOBs requirements and the Final Control One. To implement risk mitigation tool. To implement and to up date the Capacity/Capability matrix;

Business knowledge :Continuously looking for new suppliers opportunities. Build a strong network though Europe with the Final Control organization. Build a strong network outside the Emerson Organization. Build strong relation with existing key suppliers;

Supplier Partnership, QBR-s: manage the commodity to satisfy Flow Control's quality, delivery, cost, asset management, technological and customer care expectation with constantly delivering Value and Quantifiable Business Results. Cooperate with the Critical Suppliers on developing and implementing Supply Chain Solutions for the EMEA and develop relationship to a Business Partner Level. Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with our key suppliers. Maximize the Supply Chain leverage potential within the Final Control Group;

Communication and Leadership: Manage regular communication within the organization to secure the strategy execution. Deliver presentation to our stakeholders to guarantee agreements and terms
- anticipate and deliver presentation within GSC Meeting, S&OP review and others;

Material Containment and DPO: Drive Cost containment, Cost reduction and DPO improvement actions within the commodity to support the EMA NMI. Cooperate with Emerson's Supply Chain and Commodity management organizations to maximize savings and leverage improvement possibilities;

Supplier Performance Improvement, Delivery and Lead-time: Work closely with SPE to drive continuous improvement of the commodity lead-time and delivery performance;


FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • Engineering Degree in technical technology, Forging and Casting technology is a plus;
  • 5 years Supply chain or Purchasing practices with Technical experience;
  • Good level presentation skills;
  • Perfect Execution, Lean, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Material planning (MRP) knowledge;
  • Fluent in English, and the Italian language is an advantage.
