The Division


The Alternatives team, within the Products, Platform and Sustainable Solutions (PPSS) group of the International Private Bank (IPB) is responsible for building and developing an alternatives proposition for a broad range of private clients globally.


You will be key for the successful launch of new offerings and the lifecycle management of our existing product suite of alternative products for our clients in Italy.

You will work with multiple internal stakeholders across the IPB including in Advisory and Sales (A&S) and our Chief Investment Office.

A motivated self-starter is key to the role.


Role Description / Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the launch of alternatives products in Italy in quality and time by efficiently managing crossfunctional teams of internal stakeholders comprising offering management, legal, compliance, technology and operations experts on a productbyproduct basis;
  • Serve as the central point of contact for all questions relating to Deutsche Bank's alternatives offering in Italy during the entire product lifecycle;
  • Support in building, developing and maintaining relationships with Advisory & Sales teams to help understand clients' needs and better understand their alternatives portfolios, Deutsche Bank's alternative product offering and the broader alternative investment landscape;
  • On selected projects, coordinate globally the successful delivery of alternative products (e

g:
private equity/VC, real assets, private credit) across all stages of the product structuring lifecycle, from product design to implementation and successful marketing launch, including drafting relevant marketing material;

  • Collaborate with fund managers and external structuring providers to further enhance the client experience when investing in Alternative products by implementing scalable and robust solutions;
  • Manage a range of product data analytics (including product performance analyses) as well as SWOT analysis for certain products.

Skills, Education & Experience
-
Significant experience in delivering alternative investment products (e.g. Lux RAIF and ELTIFs) to clients in Italy gained by working either at a leading fund manager, bank or other financial services firm;

Experience in the alternatives investment industry is welcome.

Strong interest in wealth management, asset management and understanding of traditional and in particular alternative asset classes;

Strong communication (verbally & written) when engaging with internal and external stakeholders, interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail;

Team player that is self-motivated and has ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrates ability to position alternative investments successfully;

Fluent in English and Italy
