    Product Manager & Business Partner for French market Emmi Dessert Italia (EDITA) is a multi-site Italian Company of 500 people, part of the International Group Emmi.

    In our 3 production plants, we produce, with a touch of creativity , high-quality and excellent desserts that are shipped all over the world and give pleasure to the consumers.

    In EDITA we take care of our people, who represent our special ingredients.

    For our Marketing & Innovation team (based in Gattico-Veruno, NO) we are seeking a Product Manager & Business Partner fully dedicated to the French market .

    Working closely with the French Sales force, this figure will be in charge of increasing the business market share in France through a successful portfolio shifting strategy and execution for both private label and brands (Rachelli and Bontà Divina).

    Understanding market dynamics and key customers strategies, identifying the key legal requirements for chilled dessert in the Country and customer policies to ensure that the Innovation pipeline is fully compliant.

    Contributing to define Rachelli & Bontà Divina brand strategy and executing the Marketing and Trade Marketing plans for achieving the business goals.

    Identifying a strong 2-year Innovation pipeline with aim of increasing EDITA market share in the Country in both private label and brand to foster the category growth, where needed challenge historical market orthodoxies.

    Run an on-going product plan agenda to ensure best in class product quality and recipes that are appropriate for changing consumer and customer demands.

    Working in partnership with the category management team and the sales team to assure effective outstanding Innovation presentations to customers for both brand and private label.

    Main responsibilities :


    MARKET UNDERSTANDING :

    frequent visit to France (once every other week) to fully understand market dynamics, customer private label strategies, legal requirements and main customers recipe policies.

    Identifying any market data gaps for stronger market understanding or Innovation validation.

    Monitoring France "must have" products, YOY performance and ensure that proper intervention is implemented when results are not in line with expectations.


    COMPETITION MONITORING :

    identifying key competitors and monitoring market performance, assuring proper assessment of key EDITA products vs competition to guarantee quality leadership on defined territories.


    QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT :
    on-going product planning benchmarking current products against competitors and changing consumer and customer trends.
    BRAND PLAN DEVELOPMENT &


    EXECUTION:

    contributing to the definition of France brand strategy and assure the execution of the Marketing and Trade Marketing plan defined.


    INNOVATION PIPELINE :

    capturing new trends and identify relevant market opportunities, defining and execute a strong 2-year Innovation brand and private label pipeline able to fit into new consumer trends and grow market share.


    CUSTOMER PRESENTATIONS :
    participate to all key strategic customer meetings driving the portfolio shifting of the country with outstanding Innovation presentations.

    FOR KEY STRATEGIC INNOVATION PROJECTS overlooking the activity management process ensuring that pieces of information required are provided on time and in full.

    The person we are looking for is:
    Passionate about food and with a strong sense of ownership, sense of integrity, responsibility and collaboration
    a good communicator with a natural attitude towards interpersonal relationships, and problem-solving and organizational capabilities
    good at data analysis and insights identification
    fluent in French and English.
