You are responsible for proactively managing the data center and anticipating technical issues and resources needs. Developing and improving technical implementation practices for cloud infrastructure, including making technical decisions based on analysis. Managing the Public Data Center maintenance requests including upgrades and implementation.

Analyzing the impact of increased load, architecture changes, equipment obsolescence Conducting regular technical audits of data center architecture and global operations Developing operations process and tools for service delivery (verify Oracle back up are usable, tape management, check utilization of resources (CPU, RAM, bandwidth, etc) Identifying areas of improvement in the service delivery, and propose ways to improve overall service delivery, performance and costs Responsible for creating, maintaining and monitoring the capacity provisioning plan (CPU/TB/Mbits, etc) for the infrastructure under your responsibility Working with Purchasing & Finance to ensure that required 3rd party equipment & services are ordered in time.

Responsible for approving and managing all technical operations on data centers:

upgrades, changes of architecture, decisions on escalations.

Accountable for the enforcement of security policies defined by the Security Officer Owning internal technical escalations towards R&D and drive crisis situations until resolution Creating yearly operations plan for upgrade and patching program Training and Certification cloud program capabilitiesto enhance technical skill in the regions Other duties as assigned to support the general purpose of the positions function.
