DEPARTMENT:

ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the team to prepare periodic financial reports for funded projects.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and monitoring of project expenditures.
  • Contribute to the collection and analysis of financial data to ensure compliance with funder guidelines.
  • Support the management of documents and the preparation of materials for presentations.
  • Actively participate in the planning and implementation of financial reporting strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

For the Senior Specialist role:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • A master's degree or postgraduate training in project management, finance, or similar may be preferable.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and management of funded projects.
  • Familiarity with the procedures and regulations of funding bodies (e.g., EU regulations for structural funds, etc.).
  • Skill in identifying and resolving issues related to financial management of projects.
  • Proficiency in using specific software for financial management and reporting (e.g., SAP).
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken), essential for managing international projects and required documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Attention to detail and precision, essential for accurate financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and work under pressure.

For the Specialist role:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of work experience in financial reporting and management of funded projects.
  • Indepth knowledge of financial regulations and reporting practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel.
  • Good knowledge of SAP management system.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
