In this position you are responsible for direct interaction with our customers, proactive customer service, problem solving, customer follow up.

Your day to day activities will include shipment processing, shipment monitoring, providing key milestone updates to the customers and deviation resolution in both import and export.

• Management of import and export processes, in accordance with national, European, and extraEuropean legislation and rules of origin
• Control and verification of necessary documentation in import/export (invoices, Bill of Lading, AWB, DAU, EUR 1, INSURANCE).
• Execute booking and documentation processes with clients/carriers
• Working collaboratively with suppliers to effectively manage our customers' shipments
• Ensuring that shipments move on time and that all exceptions are handled smoothly. You will have service level agreements and key performance indicators to meet daily.
• Ensure the smooth execution of all international import and export activities.

• Professional proficiency in Italian and English, other languages are a plus
• 1 years of freight or logistics experience
• Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• A customerfocused approach to solving problems
• Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage
• Knowledge of freight forwarding requirements, market and regulations is an advantage
• Experience in customs regulations export and import is an advantage
