Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.


The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).


Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.


Position:


Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for coordination and organization? We're looking for a Mobilization Specialist to spearhead all mobilization activities for Games Tech.

This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations during Test Events, Technical Rehearsals, and Games Time for both paid staff and service providers.


Responsibilities:


  • Resource Allocation Plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive plan for resource allocation, including roles, locations, and shifts, to support various activities and operations throughout the mobilization phase.
  • HR Integration: Work closely with the HR department to seamlessly integrate all mobilization activities, ensuring proper information dissemination to Games Tech paid staff and service providers. Address any HRrelated issues or concerns that arise during the mobilization process.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate all logístical aspects of mobilization, including transportation, accreditation, accommodation, distribution of uniforms, meals, and other necessary resources.
  • Communication Strategy: Develop and implement a clear and effective communication strategy to ensure seamless coordination with Games Tech staff and service providers, facilitating the successful execution of all mobilization activities.

Record Keeping:
Maintain comprehensive documentation and records of all mobilization activities to facilitate implementation and ensure accountability.

  • Risk Management Plan: Identify potential risks and develop contingency strategies to address challenges that may arise during the mobilization phase, such as resource shortages, logístical disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements:


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of overall work experience
  • Approximately 12 years of project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Ability to thrive in a fastchanging environment
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and levels

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel to create and manage detailed project plans
  • Experience in MS PowerPoint for governance meetings and stakeholder updates
